GRAMPUS, the South Korean game studio, has confirmed plans to launch its new title, Uncharted Tycoons, in May 2026 on Base, an Ethereum Layer 2 network. As reported by PlayToEarn News, this marks one of GRAMPUS’s first releases since its transition away from the Iskra platform earlier this year.

Uncharted Tycoons is described as a hex-tile based naval trade simulator that integrates market prediction and on-chain asset management into classic strategy gameplay. Players navigate the Mediterranean, trading goods and upgrading ports to expand their trading empires. The game will feature AI-driven elements and a focus on anticipating market trends, setting it apart from traditional static trading games.

The pre-registration phase is currently open. Players who join the waitlist will be granted 100,000 cfWHEAT, which is expected to serve as a starting asset or in-game commodity tied to the game’s virtual wheat trade. This allocation is positioned as a head start for early adopters when the game launches, allowing them to establish initial trading operations.

According to the studio, strategic planning and responsiveness to changing in-game markets will be essential, with a mix of short-term trade execution and longer-term port upgrades offering both immediate and compounding rewards.
