Bitcoin Suisse Secures MiCAR License, Expanding into European Markets

Bitcoin Suisse (Europe) AG has been granted a Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP) license by the Liechtenstein Financial Market Authority under the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCAR). This regulatory approval allows Bitcoin Suisse’s European arm to offer services to clients in selected markets within the European Economic Area (EEA).

Roman Przibylla has been appointed CEO of the European division, tasked with overseeing the company’s strategic expansion throughout the region. Bitcoin Suisse has operated for over a decade as a crypto service provider in Switzerland and is now leveraging the MiCAR framework to broaden its reach within Europe.

This move aligns with ongoing regulatory developments in the EU aimed at standardizing digital asset oversight. The impact of Bitcoin Suisse’s expansion will depend on market demand and evolving local regulatory compliance requirements in each new jurisdiction.
